# Greek Revival Renovation & Addition

 Medway, MA

## Project Details

This renovation project featured a beautiful ca 1830 Greek Revival home and barn. The historic main house had maintained nearly all of its original architectural details, as did the barn. The one-story section in the middle, however, had been poorly renovated in the 1970s and was rotting away.

Because the house was small, it was decided to replace the one-story part with a new two-story addition – and to convert the attached barn to living space. A major feature of the project was the kitchen renovation located in the new addition. This was carefully detailed to feel like it could have been built back in the 1830s.
