Victorian Restoration and Addition

Project Details

This lovingly restored Victorian renovation/addition, designed by Frank Shirley Architects, was the lifelong dream of our client Kathleen and her husband Daryl. After over 20 years in the historic house, this Brown educated art-history major applied her longtime love of classical architecture to an addition and the complete restoration of this magnificent home. Located on one of Lexington’s most historic streets, it is far and away from the most faithful restoration in the neighborhood. It is a jewel to behold and just as comfortable.

Project details included a new custom kitchen with a LaCanche Range, a new custom library and new HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. A breezeway was attached in a later project to connect the home to their turn-of-the-century garage.
