Sunroom Addition for Early 18th Century Home

This beautiful sunroom addition in North Andover sits astride a gorgeous parcel of land overlooking the old Stevens estate, and ties gracefully into the entry facade of this beautiful early 18th century home. The original space was spare and the window was undersized so the new Frank Shirley designed addition was created to maximize daylighting and give ample views of their gorgeous front yard. The mahogany windows were custom designed and built by Boston Sash and Millwork, a small local millwork supplier who specializes in replicating the look, feel and operation of historic windows with modern air sealing and much better thermal performance.

The project also included a new family room above the garage and a gorgeous walk-out deck above the addition.
