Custom Designed Prefab Home

Project Details

We teamed up with the fantastic offsite fabricators Bensonwood to build this custom-designed new home in the western suburbs of Boston. As with all of our projects with Bensonwood, this project benefited by a greatly reduced schedule. By the time our foundation was in the ground, trucks were rolling down from New Hampshire delivering and installing the floor, roof, and wall panels. Despite the wintry conditions, we had an enclosed shell in a matter of weeks. This approach also provides extremely airtight and well-insulated homes, making for comfortable and healthy spaces. Offsite construction is the future of homebuilding.
