Landmark Services, Inc. is a general contractor dedicated to furnishing historic preservation and the appropriate renovation, rehabilitation or restoration of historic buildings and homes in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We have worked with homeowners, architects, and historic societies throughout the area since 1991.
We combine a long standing commitment to the distinctive architecture of the region with a full array of professional construction services. By equipping these important structures to continue to meet modern expectations for shelter and service, we assure their continued usefulness to another generation. In order to furnish the most comprehensive solutions, we have long dedicated our company to the development of the skills necessary to reproduce period craftsmanship in a full range of historic materials, masonry, plaster, timber framing and decorative finishes, as well woodwork and millwork. This diverse capacity enables us to produce reliable work, fully in harmony with the existing structure. We look forward to hearing about your significant building or restoration project.
Our projects have included additions and complete house renovations of historic homes of all styles and ages, as well as historic barn restorations and conversions. We know the historic techniques and materials used to build these homes and buildings and know how to repair, restore, and extend the usefulness of their original masonry, plaster, timber framing, and decorative finishes.
