Owner’s Vision

Convert a once-neglected barn into a modern recreation center while maintaining the historic architecture

Highlights

• Restored the barn exterior with new siding, restored trim, and new “Carriage House” style garage doors
• Installed new insulation, heating, plumbing, and a lap pool inside the barn

Challenges

• The rear of the barn had collapsed.  It required a new foundation set into the hill to support the barn and the pool
