The homeowners loved their house except…the kitchen was dreadful. It was dark, outdated and an unpleasant place to prepare meals. They directed us to provide a new kitchen that was bright and cheerful and that also reflected the late 19th century architecture.
After opening up the kitchen to the back yard with some larger windows and a new French door, we designed and built period style cabinets that provided ample storage and prep space. The tin ceiling and built-in banquette also provided some period flavor. When we were done, they told us that it was now their favorite room in the house.
