The Restoration Contractor in New England

Our restoration company Landmark Services specializes in historic renovations, home restorations, and new construction that keep the history of your home alive. We have worked with homeowners, architects, and historic societies throughout New England since 1991. Our projects include additions and complete house renovations to historic homes of all styles and ages, as well as historic barn and public building restoration. We know the techniques and materials used to build homes and buildings that are more than 50 years old and know how to repair, restore, and extend the usefulness of their original masonry, plaster, timber framing, and decorative finishes.

At our restoration company, we have comprehensive capabilities in-house, including designers, masons, cabinet makers, and specialists in landscaping, and mechanical services.

Employment Opportunities

Mark Landry, President of Landmark Services

Mark has been restoring and renovating old houses for more 20 years. He is an experienced craftsperson and designer, and since founding the restoration company Landmark Services in 1991, has managed historic renovation and restoration projects of all sizes and budgets. Mark holds an M.A. in Historic Preservation from Boston University, and spent two years at the Boston Architectural Center studying design, building technology, and architectural history. During his studies, he was an intern at both the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities and in Great Britain.

Beth Sitterly, Estimator and Project Manager

Beth Sitterly plays a dual role as Landmarks' Estimator and Project Manager.  As both, she ensures that our bids are as accurate as possible while keeping our projects on schedule.  Beth graduated from the University of Hartford with her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology.  She continued on to Columbia University to earn her Master of Science in Historic Preservation.  Since, Beth has immersed herself in the field, managing projects and working with design teams around New England on numerous projects.  She has worked with Old South Church in Copley Square, Boston, Bunker Hill National Park in Charleston, and Acadia National Park in Desert Island, Maine.

Carpentry

Our carpentry crews are led by three great carpenters; Rob Way, Dave Wetherell, and Don LaGasse.  They all bring tremendous enthusiasm and skill to their work.  They are assisted by carpenter Kyle Sullivan. From structural repairs to window restoration, from framing to finish carpentry, these guys do it all.

Masonry

Charlie Gray heads up our masonry crew.  He is experienced in fireplace and chimney restoration.  He also leads the chimney lining projects, using the Thermocrete system.

Cabinetry

Kerry Kenda is our cabinetmaker, ably assisted by Shane Gauthier.  These two produce some of the most beautiful kitchen cabinets and built-ins around.  Kerry can take your vision, draw it up, and bring it to fruition.
